This one is really funny.
Brittany can’t get a word in edgewise as Kelly recaps most of this ep while laughing and playing YouTube videos. It's what friendship is all about, tolerating the other person’s foibles.
The gang is at a colleague’s funeral and Brennan discovers foul play that sends everyone into stealth mode while trying to solve a Knives Out mystery. There are also elements of an eighties spoof where no loose end is left untied. Brennan/Emily Deschanel is a wonderful straight man to the antics that ensue.

We’re back, back, back again! Brittany and Kelly are happy to be back at it and especially happy to talk about this episode. Season four is finally hitting its stride and we are happy to see some movement with our beloved regulars!
Everything is coming up Sweets in this one as we realize the main plot line is completely peripheral and irrelevant to the more important issue: Who is going to start a spread sheet with all of Sweets’ life details? The team has to handle the case of a well travelled skull/skalle whose story has hard core twists and turns involving suspects with questionable taste in music. Gordon Wyatt pops in for a visit and to shake things up with the crew before he heads off to chef school.

Season Four continues to confound! All these episodes have tonal shifts and random plot lines that have no bearing on character development…especially between Booth and Brennan! Kelly hopes this changes soon.
Tamara Taylor wins all the awards in this one, she is giving us an acting tour de force deserving of an Emmy. Too bad the plot is oppressed by a story line about Angela that leaves us wanting. The gang is given a wild case that hits close to home for Cam and Brennan takes a back seat while Booth and Cam get to work. It never ceases to amaze what people do for love and Cam begins a new and completely radical chapter in her life.

The gang is tasked with wading through some murky waters and even murkier plot points to get to the bottom of who is behind the murder of an over-achieving teenage athlete. Where is Booth? Our professional rivalry with @boneheadspod has begun. We will make it our mission to take them down until they are willing to collaborate with us! We challenge them to having us on their show and listening to all our opinions about these characters. I also vow to subject them to a quiz of my own.
In David Boreanaz’s directorial debut of Bones, we learn that he loves comedy…or maybe just putting his castmates in weird scenes together. The jury is out.
On the show, the team is bubbling over with tension as they try to stop the evidence from disintegrating before they catch the killer of an uninvited wedding guest. HODGINS is back to his old tricks, embracing the creep, Cam is ruling the roost with her due diligence and soft skills while Brennan tries her best and fails at being great at everything. On the show, Perotta is here to save Season Four! She continues to delight with her sharp delivery and impeccable timing. Booth’s back is causing him grief so Brennan and Perotta team up to solve the murder of a woman who was just trying to do something with her life. When a man is obsessed, one never knows how far he will go “for love” proving that some things never change. Fisher is charmingly macabre and also game to take one for the team. The writers nailed the vibe and we wish they had made more eps!

Brittany and Kelly are not totally on the same page when it comes to this episode. You be the judge.
The team is charting a course that is time sensitive when it is discovered that Booth has been taken by the Gravedigger! Complying with demands and churning up clues to find the identity of the culprit as well as avoiding the Feds who are breathing down their necks simultaneously puts stress on the gang. So much stress that they have to reach out for help in an unlikely place. Booth gets a little help from a drug-induced friend. At the end of the day, Booth and Brennan are each other’s ports in any storm.

Brittany and Kelly are finally finished being brats for the summer and have decided to get back to werk. We talk TikTok trends and how boys should cry to avoid murdering and war.
On the show, the team has to work extra shifts to help Booth get out of the penalty box as a murder suspect when a rival hockey player is found dead. Booth is along for the ride as he observes another hot to trot agent take his place in the investigation.
Spoiler: Season Four is not cutting the mustard. Cam continues to be a queen and Sweets needs a stylist.
